out of isolation

In this uncertain time of COVID-19, I’m calling this show “out of isolation” for obvious reasons, as well as the fact that this is the first time this collection has left my home studio. It also happens that many of my pieces are reflections on how technology tends to remove our connection to community and nature.

So let’s get connected!

Saturday June 20 from 2 to 5 pm I am participating in the National Arts Drive by hanging 20-30 of my original paintings on our fence. A paved public walking path wraps our yard, so my paintings can be viewed up close while socially distancing. There is plenty of parking surrounding Columbine Park on Glenwood or 23rd Steet. Please bring a mask for safety and respect of others since this is the border of a public park. There will be plenty of space to get up close to each painting. They tell one story from a far, but are much more complex up close.

And make sure to check out the map at National Arts Drive for other artists and performers in Boulder and how you can support local arts and culture.
